Repair Warranty
Coverage Period
All repairs performed by Just In Time Garage Doors are covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of service. This covers all labor performed by our technicians.
What's Covered
- Defects in workmanship
- Repairs we performed that fail due to our installation error
- Labor for repair of covered defects
What's Not Covered
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, or negligence by the customer
- Damage from environmental factors (rust, extreme weather, etc.)
- Damage from lack of maintenance
- Repairs performed by non-authorized technicians
- Normal wear and tear on parts
Installation Warranty
Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 5-year labor warranty on all new door installations. This covers defects in the installation work performed by our licensed technicians.
Parts & Equipment Warranty
Parts and equipment warranties are determined by the manufacturer. We provide documentation for all manufacturer warranties included with your door and opener. These warranties are independent of our service warranty.
Installation Coverage Details
- Proper installation and alignment of door and hardware
- Correct opener installation and programming
- Safety features and testing
- Warranty does not cover damage from misuse or failure to maintain the system
Maintenance Plan Warranty
Customers enrolled in our maintenance plans receive priority service and any necessary adjustments covered as part of their plan. Maintenance warranty covers routine maintenance performed during service visits.
Coverage Includes
- Annual tune-ups and inspections
- Lubrication and adjustments
- Safety testing and verification
- Priority response time for emergency repairs
Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with our work. If you are not completely satisfied with a repair or installation within 30 days, we will return and make it right at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies to work performed in the last 30 days and excludes cases where the issue is due to customer misuse or failure to follow our maintenance recommendations.
How to File a Warranty Claim

Step 2: Provide Details
Have your service order or invoice number ready and describe the issue in detail.
Step 3: Inspection & Resolution
We will schedule an inspection to verify the warranty claim and provide a resolution at no charge if the claim is approved.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered by our warranty:
- Damage caused by natural disasters, earthquakes, storms, or acts of God
- Damage from accidents or improper use
- Cosmetic damage or wear (paint fading, rust on exposed parts)
- Modifications made by persons other than Just In Time Garage Doors
- Damage from failure to perform recommended maintenance
- Services performed after warranty expiration
- Issues caused by third-party contractors or other service providers
- Damage from rodents, insects, or animals
Manufacturer Warranty
Doors, openers, and other equipment come with manufacturer warranties separate from our service warranty. Manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and manufacturing. We will provide you with complete manufacturer warranty documentation at the time of service. Manufacturer warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturer and must be filed directly with them for claims beyond our service period.
